2007 Bassmasters Classic Field is Set

Yesterday concluded with the final day of the 2007 Bassmasters Series Championship on Lake Guntersville.  Russell Colwell of Baltimore, MD surged back to overcome the leader even though he was not allowed to weigh his largest fish, because he inadvertently brought 6 fish to the scales.  Even without that 6 lb fish he still had 16-02lb and overtook Day 2 leader Todd Lee who only managed one fish.  Read Full Story

Wow, that is amazing that a guy could make that big of a mistake and still make up a 7lb deficit.  Congrats to Tom & Brad for their high finishes as well.  It is too bad that another MN could not join Derek Remitz in the Classic, I guess we’ll have to get them next year
